A Lesson

“Mom, why are some people poor?”,  asked her 5 year old Son as he settled down at the breakfast bar.

“People are believed to be born out of their tendencies and actions from their past life,” she said as she poured milk in the mug.

“But mom, will they always remain poor? ”

“No, how we are born is not in our hands but what we make of our life is definitely in our hands”, she said laying out the breakfast for him.

” How can they acquire wealth mumma?” He asked.

Reaching out for his hand she said, ” remember dear, hard work and determination,  can make everything possible in life, but in the bargain never lose your values and goodness”
