Being Meditative

Imagine being in a world free of the humdrum of daily routine. A world where everything is fresh, untouched and divine. A place where all worries and anxieties disappear.  Only what remains is eternal blissfulness and peace.

Such is a world that is experienced by a daily habit of meditation. The person is transported instantly to a world that is serene and undemanding. However getting there is not easy. The path is ridden with distractions both  physical and mental.  Either the pressure of your responsibilities will not let you relax or some stray thought in your mind will present itself over and over again. But perseverance is the key here.

You need to let go of all responsibilities for the few minutes of silence, you need to let loose your thoughts not flowing with them, you need to be a witness to the drama played out by your body and mind, for just a few moments…

For a few moments forget who you are and what you do, just be with your inner self and the experience it brings forth.

Let yourself immerse slowly into the peaceful realm.. for a few minutes daily.. make it a habit. Meditate.

Describe one habit that brings you joy.
