Discover Your Power

When we do something that we love or are passionate about we immerse ourselves truly into it. Time and space stills and we lose ourselves into the experience.

For me reading and writing are two such activities wherein the world ceases to exist and only I and the experience is what remains.

I believe every person has such a passion and he needs to cultivate it. It can be something like art or sports or any other interest.

This feeling of being totally immersed in the experience is also a kind of mindfulness technique and a mode of meditation too. We need to gradually extend such focus and experience to other activities of day to day life. This process is gradual and will slowly lead to improved focus and mental clarity.

Observe your breath with the same focus,as well as nature, the waves of a ocean, the rustling of leaves..so on and so forth and you will find that your mind would be much calmer and relaxed. This practice will help you centre yourself and discover your inner power.

Do practise these simple yet profound techniques and let me know your experience.

What activities do you lose yourself in?
