What does it mean to be a kid at heart?
A child is full of divine qualities like innocence, happiness, courage,love,trust etc. He is not judgemental, envious or have hatred in his heart. He is pure and loves and trusts everyone. He has faith that he is blessed and will be taken care of. He rises after every fall and attempts to walk again. He is patient and courageous. He does not fear anyone or any animal be it a dog,cat or a snake all are equal in his eyes.
But as he grows he gets moulded in the cast of the society that teaches him fear, hatred, ambition, distrust etc. It lends him qualities of lying, moral misconduct and harm to others. He loses his pure love and innocence falling prey to worldly desires and aspirations. He learns to compete, rejoice in losses of others, worry and lose peace of mind.
A kid loses his divine qualities to the mundane of the world. A person who can preserve the divinity within him in the form of pure thoughts and actions, not harming others, understanding others, and have faith that he is blessed and taken care of by the almighty himself is a child at heart. He knows that if he falls today he has to get up and try again, he knows that he will always be looked after no matter what challenges come his way. He knows he is a rare diamond which can be formed only under extreme pressure. He knows he is divine.
