What have you been working on?

Positive thoughts. Our mind is easily attracted to the  negative, but positive thinking needs efforts. We will always doubt the positive like if someone tells you that you are beautiful we will always wonder why did that person say so? What is his ulterior motive and so on. But if someone says that you are lazy or slow or inefficient we are more likely to believe them and beat ourselves up for the same. Similarly if there is a set of rules of do’s and don’t s we will tend to have an urge to try out the don’t s like we all know smoking and drinking is injurious to health yet many of us indulge ourselves in the known poison. On the other hand we know exercise and meditation is good but we need extra motivation to carry out the same.

Every positive thought generates a multitude of negative ones and motivating oneself continously is challenging. However some techniques like meditation, yoga, exercise, developing hobbies like dancing, music, painting etc. Help to keep the mind engaged and relieve stress.

Finally positive thinking is a continuous, ongoing process needed to be practiced everyday till it become a habit. As habits make a man
