It’s OK to feel low for a while
To feel lost and miserable too
Even without a reason
Feel a mess and vulnerable too
The heart needs to grieve
It needs to sense the void within
It needs a break from the daily routine
The intellectual activities and mundane chores
It needs to experience the chaos within
If only for just a while
Let us pause to acknowledge
The myrid of emotional ups and downs
We go through day in and day out
Never ever realising it’s there
Never ever taking a halt
Continuing our routine
Without observing our feelings
It’s OK to cry, OK to want a break
It’s OK to realise today is not a cheerful day
It’s OK to listen to your heart once in a while
It OK to know yourself
Tomorrow will be a new start
The sun shining bright
Uplifting your feelings
And spreading joy around
Till then take care, nurture yourself
and work your way back to life
Never give up the search
Till you find the light to move on
