Kind Acts

Write about a random act of kindness you’ve done for someone.
Acts of kindness are to be done and forgotten. As we say in Bharat “Neki Kar, kuvei mein dal”, that literally means “do good deads and throw them in the well”. Acts of kindness need to be selfless expecting no returns what so ever. However if we commit such Acts with malicious intent or simply to boost our ego and social standing we are only doing an exchange of deeds. The said person gets help and you get to become a hero.
Acts of kindness need to be done for the benefit of another, like helping a blind person cross, helping a child with studies, offering your seat to a pregnant lady in a crowded train are acts which should be spontaneous and selfless.
We as humans have an innate quality to help others, however it is clouded by the attention seeking ego which will convert all such actions into instagram sensations. We need to let our inner nature flourish and be in the limelight once in a while, without letting the ego brag about it. We need to let go of things we do selflessly for the benefit of others and not hold onto them.
Kind acts however small should be selfless without any hidden intention and that is what makes them beautiful.
