Do you trust your instincts?

We as humans are unaware of the power we wield. Ancient Indian scriptures have always spoken of this in a very practical sense.

I remember my grandmother always said never to use negative words in a sentence.  Even negative facts were conveyed in a positive sense  for example  we never said “I am going” we always said ” I will come” or if something in the grocery needed to be replenished we never used sentences like “rice is over” rather it was ” rice has to be replenished”.

Similarly we were never allowed to criticise or say foul words about someone or something. It was believed that our words and thoughts had power to manifest.

Gradually over time as science came to the forefront all these practices were clubbed to be non sense and Superstitious. Little did we think that back then modern science was still evolving.

Our scriptures like Bhagvad Gita stated that ” what a man thinks so he becomes ” Thus highlighting the power of manifestation in the human thoughts and emotions.

It also stated that ” we should act without being bothered about the fruits of actions” as only when we are mindful and acting in the present moment we can focus on our task fully and thus reap outstanding benefits.  But if we are worried constantly about the outcome of the task at hand, the said task doesn’t reach the maximum potential it could have gathered.

There are many such writings in spiritual texts that provide us with the correct way of life like eating habits, practice of gratitude,  practice of meditation and pranayama,  importance of physical exercises and yoga, importance of fasting so on and so forth. But all was discarded by most people as been outdated and mythological.

But fast forward to today and we have scientific evidence proving how humans harbour a great potential for creation. How their thoughts can change their life.Today many self help books are also evolving around the concepts of affirmations,  mindfulness,  gratitude and power of manifestation of the mind. Thus combining science and spirituality like never before.

As we speak of instincts it is our inner knowledge and understanding as well as the connection with the higher power that acts in collaboration making us aware of certain things. A careful observation of them will help you decide how evolved they are and how much you can trust them.

Thus, I request you to look at your thoughts and what kind of life you are manifesting for yourself through them. Look at your words and actions as they determine who you become.  Look at yourself fully as a great potential who is much more than this physical body. Your mind and thoughts have immense power more than what you realise.Take a small step today. Replace every negative thought with a positive one, every negative word with a positive and witness the change that happens in your life slowly and gradually.
