It is easy for us to be critical and hard on ourselves. If given a chance we could drown ourselves into negativity and depression just on thoughts of how incapable and worthless and incompetent we are. But do we ever stop to think and appreciate our selves for the positives? Do we realise our self worth?

As humans we are more attracted towards the negative.  Just as the saying goes, 100 good deeds are sidelined by a single bad one. But keeping our morale and confidence high in this competitive world is a challenge and more so appreciation of one’s capabilities.

Thus right now let us stop for a few seconds and ponder over 5 things that you feel you are good at and need appreciation.

Let me Go first.

  1. Truthfulness: I value truthfulness as a virtue and I am proud of it

  2. My writing skills: I know I still.have scope for improvement yet I try to impart value to my readers through my book, blogs and social media posts

  3. Endurance: my ability to endure in trying situations has made me capable of facing life in its extremes

  4. Commitments: I am very stubborn with my Commitments and I try to fulfill them to the best of my ability

  5. My passion to learn: I like to read and learn new skills and information.  Thus making me empowered.

Take a few seconds now and quickly list down your positives and realise your self worth. Know that you are also a gem and worth cherishing. Find the diamond within and polish it to perfection.
