Krishna has been a revered figure for most people in the Indian culture. His challenging childhood with innocence and mischief,  his adolescence as a charmer and as a adult the duties towards Dharma and justice. He is a Avatar of lord Vishnu himself.  Who bore the burden and suffering of a human life to provide and guide humanity on righteousness and inner well being.

The most revered and worshpped text is the Bhagwad gita,  given by lord shri Krishna to Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurukshetra! It is such an irony that the most profound spiritual discourse should happen on a chaotic and most violent space.

The teachings of Gita still relevant in modern times, continues to inspire mankind in his journey of life. A source of eternal inspiration from the creator himself!

As we celebrate Janmashtami today I would like to pay homage to His presence amongst the mortals setting forth a way of life for generations to follow.

Happy Janmashtami!   Jai Shri Krishna!
