Filled with fun and frolicGames with peers and friendsGone are the days most precious of allWhere a phone call was rare And one channel on TV everywherePostman delivered the long awaited mailAnd newspapers were the sole source of current affairsWhere hearts were  closeAlthough people were afarThe ring of the telephonefilling the mind With anticipation And here we are todayMuch closer yet further awayMore accessible yet distantGlued to screens of all kindsFalse friends and egosMinds in confusion and chaosAnd we wonder whyHumanity is dying a slow death
