I led a life feeling trapped and caged. I felt the deep gorges of depression and frustration. The smells of futility and despair surrounding me like ugly monsters. I felt Positivity was a far cry that would never reach my ears.
But everything changed one day. The day I decided to take charge of myself. The day I decided to come out of my cage and face my monsters head on.
How did I do it?
It required courage and strength to work on my inner self. It required a motivation that would keep me going and it also needed a commitment, a promise that I made to myself never to give up.
The courage came from the tiny innocent faces of my children who looked upto me with so much love and trust.
The motivation came from my grounding practices of yoga, meditation and Sudarshan kriya.
And the promise is what kept me going through thick and thin. Every day Every moment evolving, learning and being a better version of me. Effects of my Personal development and self transformation was leaving it’s mark in my world.
The caged mind that once bothered me, was now a free bird with consistent discipline.
What are the practices that keep you grounded and in touch with your emotions?
