How have you adapted to the changes brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic?
Covid 19 was a nightmare of modern times. However, 4 years down the lane have we changed to provide such situations from recurring? This is a line of thought everyone should ponder.
Although most changes need to be done by policy makers but at personal level there is so much we can do. Just for starters we can use masks in public places and hospitals. This will protect us not only from covid but also other respiratory infections that are air borne.
Secondly we can make handwashing a daily routine in our lives. Avoid touching our face, mouth, nose and eyes without washing our hands with soap and water as far as possible.
Also, we need to teach our children to avoid touching walls, posters etc at public places as they are more likely to touch soiled hands to their faces and mouths.
Regular dusting and cleaning of surfaces is also very important especially in public places.
Although we can’t prepare ourselves for everything, we can atleast do the minimum to keep ourselves and our families safe. We do not need to be an eccentric germophobic, however can always improve our habits and hygiene.
