कालः पचति भूतानि, कालः संहरते प्रजाः | कालः सुप्तेषु जागर्ति, कालो हि दुरतिक्रमः ||

Time devours all things, Time kills all that are born.Time is awake while all else sleeps, Time is insurmountable. – Vidura in Mahabharata

Is there an age or year of your life you would re-live?

No. As there is no point crying over spilt milk there is no point thinking about past memories that cannot be re-lived. Yes ofcourse in the course of life many bitter sweet memories have come our way and some are too dear to heart to let go. However living them again, and again letting them go will be even more painful. Today life is beautiful and the past experiences have everything to do with it. But getting wiser means looking forward and not backward. Looking behind will only lead to day dreaming and waste of our time and energy. What is important is we pick up the life lessons and remember the memories but not get ourselves entangled in the past.

Getting entangled in the past is like missing the gift of present in your hands and by the time you realise this moment right now has passed and become history. At the end of the day today has already found it’s place in the past. Similarly the future keeps deluding us. Keeping us bothered and stressed about moments yet to happen. Creating and inventing them in our minds in all different ways. Again losing out on the moment right here and now

Hence instead of being entangled in the past or deluded in the future focus on the present in front of you that is a product of the past and the foundation for the future.
