Unity and Humility

The colours of unity and mascot of humility.

If you started a sports team, what would the colors and mascot be?

The essential components of sports whether played as a hobby or a profession are team spirit and unity. Unless a team can put aside it’s individual differences and come together success cannot be achieved. Accepting each other’s proficiencies and shortcomings gracefully and working with them and bringing out the best in an individual is the essence of having understanding and unity in a team.

Similarly, humility and sportsmanship are essential qualities in a sportsperson that keeps him/her grounded, away from pride and ego issues thus helping the individual in achieving greater heights.

A team can have the best colours and the most beautiful mascots however unless it’s members are equipped with a sense of understanding, unity, humility and sportsmanship it cannot survive the onslaught of a competitive opponent.
