“Pause before you act… Think before you leap”

The moon represents a distant dream or a pausible reality depending on how you wish to see it.

But if asked what is it that I would pay so much as traveling to the moon would be investing in myself.

Yes, invest not in clothes or grand jewelry but invest in learning skills I would like to hone, passions I would love to persue and most importantly invest in conquering my dreams.

Just like a thirsty man needs to get to the river to quench his thirst, so do we need to get to the resources that will fund our dreams.

It may not always be making wealth or learning the stock market tricks. It can be simple things like learning how to deal with setbacks or how to keep moving when life feels the most horrible.

In Bharat, we have a saying that goes, ” money is like the dirt on our hands and hence insignificant. It keeps coming and going…” (paisa Hatton ki mail he)

Thus in addition to learning the skills of survival and money making I believe in learning the following skills

Gratitude

Forgiveness

Self love

Selfless service to others

Means to reach a level of inner peace that is not disturbed by external situations.

I invest my energy in daily micro practices which build and create my inner world. I have been to the rock bottom of my emotions in depression and also reached a level of inner peace where emotional disturbance is minimal.

All my practices and process has been now printed into a self help book ” The 1 second shift to emotional resilience”. It also gives you a 45 day starter guide to begin your journey right away.

Book launch on 1st Nov.

Meanwhile ponder on what is it that you would need to invest in yourself?
