When Motherhood Breaks You

I understand when you say that motherhood feels like going through a hurricane. When Sleepless nights are blurred into endless days. When your mind whispers cruel narratives: “You’re not good enough. You’re failing.” But realize that motherhood isn’t about being perfect. It’s about showing up, even when you’re broken and you feel that you’re barely holding the pieces together. I learned that struggling doesn’t define my worth as a mother. Nor do the expectations from society. My worth is in the midnight feedings, the endless care during illnesses, the soft lullabies sung off-key. My worth is in my relentless love. Every mother carries an invisible strength. We are warriors, not because we’re flawless, but because we keep going. We adapt. We learn. We grow. We try our best. We sacrifice, we are hurt yet we always show up. To the mother reading this right now: Your messy, imperfect journey is beautiful. Your tears are valid. Your exhaustion is real. But know that  you are not alone. Share your story. Lets Heal together. Follow @drsarojsalelkar on Instagram and facebook page Dr Saroj Salelkar for more such content and sharing. Let’s make motherhood memorable.
