Time is not money, time is life…
— Sadhguru (founder of Isha Yoga)
Where one may find time to be static and moving at a very slow pace, another may find it to be ticking away rapidly and yet a meditating person may not have any sense of time.
In sanskrit, time is known as Kala, which is also a homonym for death. Or it could be considered another aspect of time itself!
Time is eternal and the only constant in the forever changing world. It is a witness to all events in the creation. Our life emerges and merges and all acts in between occur on a time frame. We may feel that we are in control but it is just an illusion. Actually it is time that controls us.
We are born at a particular time and die at a particular time. All acts committed in between are lost to the pages of time forever. And so do we disappeared into the hollow of time. We may be remembered for a generation or two, but after that our existence will only be history.
Hence we need to use our time wisely. Take decisions that will help and heal humanity and leave an imprint of our lives on the sands of time. And we need to start now. Time is very short and our life is ticking by with every passing moment it’s time to act and make every second count and make this life worthwhile.
Do you need time?
