As a doctor, author, and mother who has walked the path of healing through both science and spirituality, I’ve realized that true wellbeing lies in the small habits we build daily. These are not quick fixes, but consistent practices that shape our physical, emotional, and mental strength.

Here are 5 strategies I follow every single day to stay healthy, centered, and focused.

1. Watch What You Eat 🍲

Food is the substance that provides us with nourishment and energy. But eating harmful processed foods, fast foods, etc., as well as food rich in refined sugars, palm oil, etc., are not healthy. Thus, read labels, be aware of your cooking ingredients, and include a balanced diet.

2. Adequate Sleep 😴

This is where the rejuvenation of the body occurs. A sound sleep of 6–8 hours keeps us active all day.

3. Breathwork and Meditation 🧘‍♀️

These help me keep my inner calm and process my day skillfully.

4. Hydration 💧

Adequate water intake is essential for body functions. Around 2–3 litres is optimum.

5. Physical Exercise 🏃‍♀️

Walking, running, or any other exercise done on a regular basis helps maintain our physical health as well as control stress levels.
